home again home again

Though I have found peace and contentment up in the icy slippery mountains of Vermont, when I smell this salt air- I know the truth is inevitable.  This will always feel like my home.  We had a beautifully relaxing and happy week with family.  We ate delicious food again and again and again, and laughed and played and enjoyed the ten or so degrees more we get when surrounded by the insulating ocean.  And now we are back and the rocks are covered in avalanches of icicles and the ground is crunchy and the driveways are salted and I’ll be honest it feels good.  It feels right.  It feels like reality and a wintery fantasy all at once.  I hope your Thanksgiving was merry and bright and I hope you are as thrilled about tiny white lights and pine scented wreaths and little gnomes and garlands and sparkly things as I am.
