It seems this wet summer has sopped up the ground just right, greened up the world to a mossy furry perfection and spread the spores of every type of mushroom and toadstool you can imagine. On our camping trip this past weekend, I found myself immersed in the middle of the ring with the decomposing masters of the earth.
The more I learn about the rings and brackets and patches and clusters of mushrooms around me, the more magical this crazy world becomes. It seems to be a thing these days, and I quite like that. Mushrooming. It’s all the rage. Any good pickings in your neck of the woods?
