So, the magical age of FOUR doesn’t prove to be starting off as smoothly as I was promised. Oh, never mind that. Today we played hooky from the library (ok, we went for three minutes and it was decidedly a terrible idea) and jetted for the forest. So many tiny things to be seen! Why waste time cajoling and hushing and coaxing? On days like this where the summer sun is giving us our last hurrah, why would I attempt anything else but a hustle through the forest shadows? I don’t know what I was thinking.
Thank goodness for little boys who don’t put up with my nonsense.
